Studio Build.
I am beyond excited to have clients whether they be mums and daughters, sisters, generations or best friends. Please come and join me in my studio, where you can feel at home, relaxed and let your hair down and experience a Dream Shoot with me.
I have spent my entire career freelancing and using other photographers studios, setting up portable studios and shooting on location, outdoors using natural light.
The idea to build my own studio again like my branding, was thought of during Covid.
I put it to my hubby and as per usual he had my back. He listened and agreed that it was a possibility and then helped me organise a builder. we ordered my flooring, we put furniture together side by side and he was excited to watch me shoot in the studio for the first time.
I ordered all my furniture mostly online and had a painter come in and paint the roof black, the walls white to use as reflectors. I ordered a backdrop rack and I am beyond happy with the space saving solutions this provides. I built a reveal wall, I have a makeup table with lights and also a rack full of clothing my clients have the option to rummage through for inspiration.
My lighting was ordered, delivered and set up. I went with Elinchrom and I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I ordered 3 backdrops from Kates Backdrops and installed them on my rack.
I migrated all my camera gear over and went about testing with my girls, my sister and a few friends for a day. We had so much fun and my excitement escalated to get my business started and to provide a wonderful photographic experience for my clients.
